Jouni Keravuori brings to PaxSafe a distinguished career in the US military, and extensive international business experience. A graduate of West Point, and he served decades in the military before joining the private sector in various leadership capacities. Prior to joining as Chairman of the Board at PaxSafe, Keravuori was the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the SAS Institute; Sr. Director of International Business Development at General Dynamics Information Technology; and serves as Sr. Vice President of Global Initiatives and Business Development at Pax Mondial.
Paul Wood is an international expert in risk management. He brings a wealth of experience, having operated more than five years as a Director within the international risk management sector, with particular focus on the Middle East. Paul was Director and Country Manager for Kroll Security International in Iraq for three years before becoming Managing Director of International Operations. Prior to joining Kroll, he was Chief of Staff of a strategic communications and media development team with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in Iraq. He began his career as an officer in the British Army serving in The Parachute Regiment before working for five years as a stockbroker with Collins Stewart.

Mark has led large, independent physician practices as CEO along with recent experience growing a national self-funded health insurance platform, a telehealth application and international healthcare consulting.
As a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Service Corps, Mark was Chief of Patient Affairs at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center near at Ramstein Air Force Base where he cared for casualties from Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as contractors and the governments of allied military from nearly two-dozen countries. His work in “medical diplomacy” earned special recognition from the Department of State.
He later served with the reserve unit at the Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) and was the Navy liaison to the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Mark’s credentials were approved by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) as administrative director for the UAE’s largest trauma center.
Mark earned a master’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh with further study at Trinity College in Dublin.
